Eco Warriors

We are the Eco Warriors. We have been nominated to help our school become as Eco-Friendly as possible. We are very passionate about helping our world and are always thinking of new ways to create a greener Woodlands!  We meet regularly, share information in assemblies and hold whole school events. We have organised and taken part in many events including `Switch It Off` campaigns, toy swaps, community litter picks, environmental quizzes and saving waste competitions. We have helped to get our local park re-opened and even helped design and plant it! We have won several competitions and awards, and our most exciting project was building and racing a Goblin kit car.  We are very proud of our Green Flag and have exciting plans to improve our school grounds and develop our Active Travel Plan by getting as many children as possible walking or cycling to school.
